Diana Kersey
Diana Kersey lives and works in San Antonio. This, her third major show at Goldesberry Gallery, presents her new body of studio pottery. These sculptural vessels possess a raw, textural quality while covered in translucent, earthy glazes which she has developed using alkaline glaze colored with earth oxides. It is her desire to pay homage to all folk pottery from around the world throughout ceramic’s 10,000 year history.
